Our uprated valve for the Hyundai i30N, Kona N, and Veloster N has been expertly manufactured and designed in the UK, meaning we can provide the industry leading valve for your vehicle. Specifically designed for the Hyundai, this valve can be used either as a fully atmospheric (blow off) valve, or a recirculating valve - you choose!
Our unrivalled design uses a boost to side entry on the valve meaning unlike our competitors the valve cannot lift under high or low boost applications. The advantage of this eliminates the need to change the valves internal spring rate to a higher tension when tuning the vehicle.

10 Year Warranty Information
The majority of Forge Motorsport products come with a limited 10 Year Warranty (brakes pads excluded). All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase to enable us to help you. Failure to supply this proof will result in your claim or enquiry being denied.

Do not use aggressive (acidic) car cleaning products, particularly traffic film remover solutions or shampoos to clean your intercooler, radiator, or oil cooler. The use of these products can damage Forge Motorsport cooling systems and invalidate your warranty. These are often found at car washes. A light, warm, soapy solution (free of harsh acidic cleaning compounds) should be used to clean you cooler and thoroughly rinsed away. We recommend that you should inspect your product on a regular basis for bent and/or crushed fins. Any bent fins should be carefully straightened to allow ambient air to pass through the core face. At the time of installing your Forge radiator, an approved coolant must be used and added to the coolant system. Be sure you never mix coolant and always use distilled water.
This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the supplier, failure to follow the supplier’s instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the supplier’s approval.

Do you need to retune the car / will it affect idle if you set it vent to the atmosphere?

It will not be needed to Retune/ code the ECU and the idling will not be affected.
Hallo, ich habe einen Facelift DCT und auf 390 HP aber ich habe das Problem manchmal wann ich Vollgas etwas zurücknehme und zugleich schalte das der Motor in so eine art Loch fällt und das Blow off komische Geräusche macht und das Auto nicht mehr beschleunigt, auch nicht wann ich Vollgas gebe !! Ich muss das Gas kurz wegnehmen und und wieder drauf dann passt es wieder. Bitte um Antwort. Mfg Leopold Lumpi
Hallo, das Ventil wird über ein Magnetventil betätigt. Ich vermute, dass dies möglicherweise das Problem ist. Das Schmiedeventil sollte keine negativen Auswirkungen auf die Leistung des Fahrzeugs haben
Do you need to remap your car or can you swap this straight for the oem one, snapped a small plastic bit of so need to replace the BOV just wondering if it requires a tune aswell

Hello , the valve can be used in conjunction with the OEM intake and plumbed to either recirc or atmospheric , if using the intake FMINDK28 the valve can also be fitted in either recirc or atmo, the supplied FMINDK28 comes with all the relevant hardware to fit to either the the forge valve or the oem valve.

I have a kona n. Oem configuration is recirculating. Will atmospheric configuration result in any running issues or alarms?
This valve is designed to function perfectly as recirculation or fully vented / atmospheric, we have sold many of these valves with no issues, this valve also comes with a lifetime warranty to give you complete piece of mind.

Hi guys Silly question what's the easiest way to change the bov from recirc to atmospheric adapter. I'm trying and it's quite difficult to open

If you are struggling to remove the BOV trumpet, I would suggest using either a thin plastic trim tool or a small screw driver and place it through the slots to help leaver the BOV trumpet anti clockwise. If you are using any metal tools wrap them with tape to prevent any bruising to the valve.
