The Forge Motorsport high flow intake hose for the MQB platform 2.0 engines, eliminates the highly restrictive plastic inlet pipe, and replaces it with our smooth bore multi-ply silicone hose which increases air flow, improving efficiency and performance. This equates to increases of up to 10hp which is a remarkable gain for an easy to fit bolt on modification.

The high flow male alloy coupler is a bayonet type, rotated to the locked position before fixing in place by positioning the hose on the alloy coupler and tightening the hose clamps at both ends of the hose, anchoring the alloy coupler in position to complete the installation.
The Forge silicone hose in this kit has been designed to include an expensive inner liner of modified silicone known as Fluorosilicone.This means the hoses are suitable to be used with either modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology coolants (O.A.T.) but more importantly for this application, air containing oil mist. The construction of the hoses has been engineered to exceed that of the OEM fitments, and will enhance any engine bay both technically and aesthetically.The use of a Fluorosilicone liner ensures that Forge silicone hoses are the clear market leader.

The majority of Forge Motorsport products come with a limited 10 Year Warranty (brakes pads excluded). All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase to enable us to help you. Failure to supply this proof will result in your claim or enquiry being denied.

Do not use aggressive (acidic) car cleaning products, particularly traffic film remover solutions or shampoos to clean your intercooler, radiator, or oil cooler. The use of these products can damage Forge Motorsport cooling systems and invalidate your warranty. These are often found at car washes. A light, warm, soapy solution (free of harsh acidic cleaning compounds) should be used to clean you cooler and thoroughly rinsed away. We recommend that you should inspect your product on a regular basis for bent and/or crushed fins. Any bent fins should be carefully straightened to allow ambient air to pass through the core face. At the time of installing your Forge radiator, an approved coolant must be used and added to the coolant system. Be sure you never mix coolant and always use distilled water.
This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the supplier, failure to follow the supplier’s instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the supplier’s approval.

The FMTIA1 appears to have a bracket/arm built into it. How does this all in one unit compare to the FMINLMK7?
The FMTIA1 is compatible with both the left hand and right hand drive models, but the FMTIA1 is designed primarily for the left hand drive models where the bracket mount is essential (still can fitted to the right hand drive models but is not essential); in the right hand drive models, for which we offer only the FMINLMK7, the bracket mount is not a critical fitment requirement.
Does the male coupling replace just the turbo elbow or the elbow & turbo muffler on the mqb cars please?
Hello , this replaces the inlet tract to the turbo, the muffler delete is a separate product , the code for the muffler delete is FMMD2.
Will this hose fit onto the standard air box?

Yes this product is compatible with the OE air box and after market induction kits.
hi, will this suit a Mk3 TT 2015 2.0 petrol Quattro ?
Yes, but please note that the FMINLMK7 only fits right hand drive 2015 and onwards MK3 TT models.
