Forge has developed this turbo outlet muffler delete pipe for the 2.0 petrol turbo (TSI) (EA888 GEN4 engine). This will not fit Golf R or Audi S3 8Y as this engine has no OEM turbo muffler.
It has been designed with 3 points of contact to eliminate any possibility of resonation. This part will improve the sound of your turbo spooling and improve throttle response due to its sleek single billet design that eliminates the restriction and turbulence caused by the OEM part.
On the new Golf GTI engine code DNP, this muffler delete gave an additional 8-10bhp during dyno tests. This will fit OEM part number 06Q145702B.
Please note, if your vehicle has the EVAP system fitted, as below, this part will not fit.

The majority of Forge Motorsport products come with a limited 10 Year Warranty (brakes pads excluded). All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase to enable us to help you. Failure to supply this proof will result in your claim or enquiry being denied.

Do not use aggressive (acidic) car cleaning products, particularly traffic film remover solutions or shampoos to clean your intercooler, radiator, or oil cooler. The use of these products can damage Forge Motorsport cooling systems and invalidate your warranty. These are often found at car washes. A light, warm, soapy solution (free of harsh acidic cleaning compounds) should be used to clean you cooler and thoroughly rinsed away. We recommend that you should inspect your product on a regular basis for bent and/or crushed fins. Any bent fins should be carefully straightened to allow ambient air to pass through the core face. At the time of installing your Forge radiator, an approved coolant must be used and added to the coolant system. Be sure you never mix coolant and always use distilled water.
This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the supplier, failure to follow the supplier’s instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the supplier’s approval.

Good afternoon, I have recently purchased a Golf R MK8 2024 and I was wondering if there will be a Turbo Muffler Delete made for this model as i can see recent ones for the 7 and 7.5. I did notice that on the MK8 GTI it had: Forge has developed this turbo outlet muffler delete pipe for the 2.0 petrol turbo (TSI) (EA888 GEN4 engine). Good morning , the vehicle model in question does not have a Turbo muffler fitted as standard meaning no muffler delete is required.

Hello , the higher output engine does not have a muffler so this product is not needed , an alternative product would be FMDP3.
