FMINDK48 is the Forge Motorsport intake solution for VW T5/T5.1/T6 and T6.1. Yes, this beautifully crafted induction kit fits most Transporters from 2003-2024!

This intake will not fit the T6-BI-TURBO with the MAF sensor of 90mm. 

It has been designed and engineered to directly replace the stock airbox lid and offers a high-quality replacement, with its open top design which not only looks aesthetically pleasing but is designed to increase the airflow and performance of your vehicle. By neatly clipping into the airbox, this Forge Motorsport induction kit design ensures that it is not a 'hot air filter', allowing your Transporter to breathe better therefore improving performance.

During the development phase we found that the opening on the top and slots on the side of the intake helped mapped vehicles, while not causing detriment to standard tune vehicles.  

As with all of our testing we use independent tuners; in this instance we used Avon Tuning in Bristol. From the results we proved some great additional performance gains, as you can see from the dyno graphs below. Peak power with a tuning box installed gave peak gains of 12.5 BHP with gains of also 20NM of Torque, most impressively though are the mid range power improvements. Typically this is where the driver will really feel a great improvement in acceleration, as well as far supplier towing power. This can be ideal for heavier transporters typically with camper conversions.

The first dyno pictured show the improvements on a 100% stock ECU while the second dyno shows the increases with a tuning box installed. The third dyno graph we have highlights where the maximum gains are in the rev range. Dyno 3 shows a huge 23 BHP increase @3700 rpm with a gain of 44nm @3600RPM!

Our intakes are designed to the highest quality with UK manufactured sheet metal and a high quality Pipercross air filter to significantly increase surface area allowing a greater airflow. FMINDK48 was designed to increase throttle response, improve performance, and make a far better sound, all of which improve the driving experience.
