This recirculating valve is for the Renault and Nissan Turbo engines that have the electronically controlled bypass valve (OEM Part no. 144839204R). It is recommended for any vehicle where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade and for unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates, as a solution to the many failures that have occurred. Unfortunately, the failure doesn’t always result in a check engine light as the valve can still be blown open by the boost pressure, so you may not be aware that you are losing power due to this. This prevents the diaphragm from sealing.
Our alternative is a fully engineered solution offering both significantly improved reliability. The Forge valve is piston based, there is no diaphragm to fail, and of all aluminium billet construction, it replaces the original unit with a pressure/vacuum operated piston valve that still also retains the desirable OEM ECU control, over valve actuation.

Do not use aggressive (acidic) car cleaning products, particularly traffic film remover solutions or shampoos to clean your intercooler, radiator, or oil cooler. The use of these products can damage Forge Motorsport cooling systems and invalidate your warranty. These are often found at car washes. A light, warm, soapy solution (free of harsh acidic cleaning compounds) should be used to clean you cooler and thoroughly rinsed away. We recommend that you should inspect your product on a regular basis for bent and/or crushed fins. Any bent fins should be carefully straightened to allow ambient air to pass through the core face. At the time of installing your Forge radiator, an approved coolant must be used and added to the coolant system. Be sure you never mix coolant and always use distilled water.
This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the supplier, failure to follow the supplier’s instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the supplier’s approval.

It seems my OEM solenoid failed on my Alpine A110S 2021 and I'm looking for non OEM alternatives since my ECU have been remapped, have you been able to validate if this kit would also fit? Thank you
Unfortunately not; the engine is of course similar to the model we offer this valve for but there is an incompatible element which we are actively investigating, and a replacement valve will be available for the Alpine A110S by September 2025.

The FMDV23R is our recirculating valve (no sound)
The FMDV23A is our atmospheric valve (Blow off sounding valve)
The valve is built with a blue spring so leave that in place unless you are tuning the vehicle.
