Please check the measurements of your spring against those pictured before purchasing
If you are finding that the valve is dumping more than required, or if you are losing boost pressure it is normally an indication that a stronger spring is required. Alternatively, if the valve is failing to dump it may be necessary to install a weaker spring. Please note that fitting a stronger spring into a valve will not increase boost pressure, unless existing pressure is being lost. Failure to allow the valve to operate by installing a spring which is too strong, may cause damage to the turbocharger.
Please also note that the red coded springs should not be installed in the DVR or DV007 diaphragm valves.
Valve Spring color coding: Green - 5-15 PSI (0.35-1.03 Bar), Yellow - 15-23 PSI (1.03-1.59 Bar), Blue - 23-30 PSI (1.59-2.07 Bar), Red - 30 + PSI (2.07 Bar +)

The majority of Forge Motorsport products come with a limited 10 Year Warranty (brakes pads excluded). All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase to enable us to help you. Failure to supply this proof will result in your claim or enquiry being denied.

Do not use aggressive (acidic) car cleaning products, particularly traffic film remover solutions or shampoos to clean your intercooler, radiator, or oil cooler. The use of these products can damage Forge Motorsport cooling systems and invalidate your warranty. These are often found at car washes. A light, warm, soapy solution (free of harsh acidic cleaning compounds) should be used to clean you cooler and thoroughly rinsed away. We recommend that you should inspect your product on a regular basis for bent and/or crushed fins. Any bent fins should be carefully straightened to allow ambient air to pass through the core face. At the time of installing your Forge radiator, an approved coolant must be used and added to the coolant system. Be sure you never mix coolant and always use distilled water.
This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the supplier, failure to follow the supplier’s instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the supplier’s approval.

Hi, I am running Evo 6 at 1.45 bar peak with yellow spring fitted to FMDVEVO14. the valve is open at idle and closed under load. Should the valve remain open at idle? Thanks.
Yes, this is normal. The boost port is held shut by the idle piston under tension of the idle spring during engine idle as the main boost piston is sucked up into the top of the valve via the smaller port at the top the of the valve; pressure flow reverts to vacuum when off the throttle via the small port and this is why you see the main boost piston in the open position during idle.
If i run 24 psi what spring should I use? I have green and is weak , maybe blue for 24 psi is just too stiff?
Blue may be a bit too strong; it depends on the model and the associated vacuum pressure.
If you experience wastegate flutter (turbo stall) the fitted spring is too strong; otherwise, if you note power loss in the lower gears at high revs (motorway driving) then the fitted spring is too weak.

The speed of the noise is down to how the valve works with the Hyundai engine. Its side exit design gives all valve for the I30N this sound characteristic.

The FMDVRMR has the green spring installed off the shelf and the yellow spring is supplied loose with the valve for customers with higher boost pressure requirements.
Green - 5-15 PSI - installed in FMDVRMR.
Yellow - 15-23 PS - supplied loose with each FMDVRMR purchase.
Blue - 23-30 PSI
Red - 30 + PSI
