This Recirculating valve is for the turbocharged 1.6-litre EcoBoost petrol engine found in the Fiesta ST. It is recommended for any vehicle where the boost pressure has or is going to be increased by an ECU software upgrade,
Our alternative is a fully engineered solution, offering significantly improved reliability. Our valve and installation kit replaces the original unit with a pressure/vacuum operated piston valve, that still also retains the desirable OEM ECU control over valve actuation. This product has been thoroughly designed and tested with the expressed intent of offering improved valve response and maintaining ECU control while resulting in absolutely NO fault codes, NO check engine lights, and no adverse effects of any kind.
All of the necessary components and detailed instructions are included and everything is designed to make installation as simple as possible.

The majority of Forge Motorsport products come with a limited 10 Year Warranty (brakes pads excluded). All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase to enable us to help you. Failure to supply this proof will result in your claim or enquiry being denied.

Do not use aggressive (acidic) car cleaning products, particularly traffic film remover solutions or shampoos to clean your intercooler, radiator, or oil cooler. The use of these products can damage Forge Motorsport cooling systems and invalidate your warranty. These are often found at car washes. A light, warm, soapy solution (free of harsh acidic cleaning compounds) should be used to clean you cooler and thoroughly rinsed away. We recommend that you should inspect your product on a regular basis for bent and/or crushed fins. Any bent fins should be carefully straightened to allow ambient air to pass through the core face. At the time of installing your Forge radiator, an approved coolant must be used and added to the coolant system. Be sure you never mix coolant and always use distilled water.
This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the supplier, failure to follow the supplier’s instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the supplier’s approval.

Is there any pro/con of fitting on a standard ST180? I will be mapping this but that won't be until the winter? Also what could I expect from standard ie, the sound and response? Thanks

There is no con at all to fitting our valve to your vehicle.
our valve replaces the oem valve which is common for failure.
all you will need to do in regards to the point at which you map the vehicle is to swap out the spring thats in it now for the blue spring.
The benefits will be better throttle response, boost pressure will hold better if your standard valve is on its way out.
this particular valve will give no noise i.e nothing will change however if you want the whoosh noise when letting off the throttle then you will need FMDVST180A
I have just fitted this product onto my st, there is no flutter just a loud whoosh , do I have to adjust this recirc valve , I have the blue spring in and was expecting a nice flutter

Just so I am sure you have the correct valve can you check to see if it has round holes on the base of the valve.
Can I adjust how loud it is as I feel that It is a bit quite as I know some others have a harder or softer setting

Unfortunately you cannot change the sound characteristics for any of our valves. All the springs do is to prevent the valve opening at higher state of tune (larger boost pressures) they do not change the sound in any way.
Hi, if i buy this kit is it a case of completely removing old unit and fitting these or is there anything else i need to buy before i start the job? Also its stage 2 tuned at around 250 bhp so would i fit it with the standard spring or the upgraded one To be fit on a fiesta st200 2017 thanks

Everything is in the kit for installation. I would suggest fitting the upgrade spring which is in the kit. Look on the listing on our website you will see a youtube video on how to fit the spring.
What kind of noise will this make will it flutter? And will it fit my ford fiesta st-line 1L eco boost 2017
